After joining local young professionals organization Connect Marquette, I became very active in the Events and Marketing Committees. I became the main graphic designer for the group, using a mix of Photoshop and Canva to create print and digital content for the organization. This content ranged from Facebook Event Cover Images and social media post graphics to event flyers and calendars.
During my time with Connect Marquette I helped plan and market several new events or promotions ever month including large scale professional development conferences, monthly socials, and community events.
Additionally, I manage the majority of the social media scheduling and posting for Connect Marquette. All marketing requests are accepted and managed in Asana creating a well organized social media marketing calendar for all of our various events and promotions.
